2016 Summer Term- "Alice in Wonderland" Ballet Camp & Intermediate-Advance level Intensive June 27-August 5
August 5 at 3pm Student performance, Excerpts from "Alice in Wonderland"
Ballet Camp class packages includes- Ballet technique classes, Ballet 2B-6 Contemporary/Jazz class. Each division learns a dance to perform in the end of term performance. Each student will help help create a simple costume to perform in. Students learn about ballet history, listen to classical ballet music and learn various ballet stories. Ballet Camp topics discussed in Ballet 3B-6 Divisions include: Performance Make-up & Ballet bun making, Helpful tips for a dancer, what to carry in ballet bag, Pointe shoe care, Ballet body care (how to care for sore muscles, proper nutrition for peak performing, care for feet in pointe shoes, stretches and strengthening exercises).
